Embedded World 2026 in Nuremberg is just around the corner, and we’re excited to share that we will be showcasing multiple joint solutions with our ecosystem partner Kontron.
Together, we’ll demonstrate how Cybersecurity can be integrated into connected devices — from industrial systems to critical infrastructure — ensuring protection while meeting the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) regulatory requirements.
KontronAIShield powered by Exein
At both the Exein and Kontron stands, visitors will experience live demos of KontronAIShield powered by Exein, a joint solution designed to deliver end-to-end AI-based Cybersecurity for connected systems across strategic industries such as manufacturing, energy, healthcare, automotive, critical infrastructure, and aerospace.
Built on Kontron’s hardware and KontronOS foundation and powered by Exein’s advanced runtime security technology, the solution delivers:
- Real-time anomaly detection — even for unknown threats
- AI-driven firewall and IDS capabilities
- Continuous protection during device operation
- Fleet-wide threat intelligence
- Exportable logs for SIEM and SOAR integration
- Secure deployment across brownfield and greenfield environments
- Zero-touch provisioning
Through multiple live demonstrations, we will show how our runtime security enables continuous vulnerability management while devices operate in the field.
Addressing Cyber Resilience Act Compliance
A key focus of our joint presence will be compliance with the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
The CRA requires manufacturers to follow secure-by-design standards for connected products and report actively exploited vulnerabilities and significant security incidents within 24 hours, followed by a detailed report within 72 hours. This demands real-time device monitoring, structured incident documentation, and rapid communication of technical information.
KontronAIShield powered by Exein enables manufacturers to meet these requirements with continuous runtime monitoring, reliable evidence collection, and structured reporting from development through operation.
