Crossing the Frontier: Exein at RSAC 2026

Exein at RSAC Conference 2026 in San Francisco

For years, preemptive runtime security has remained a theoretical ambition—a concept widely discussed in research but never truly realized in practice.

Traditional runtime security has always been a detect and respond game: an observer waits for something to go wrong, alerts a dashboard, and then reports or tries to kill the process.

However, in a world where an attack can conclude in milliseconds, being an observer isn't enough. We’ve moved beyond that.

This year at the RSAC Conference in San Francisco, Exein is proud to demonstrate that this frontier has finally been crossed.

From Research to Protecting the AI-native world

At RSAC, we will present the outcome of extensive research and development, translating our body of work into practical solutions that will change how companies and organizations are protected.

The result is a new generation of security designed for the AI-native era, where the boundaries between physical and digital systems have dissolved. This is critical for hybrid systems, as it ensures local hardware protection remains active even when disconnected from cloud oversight, eliminating network latency by operating at the speed of the processor.

Today’s environments work as unified ecosystems operating across:

Physical AI and IoT — Intelligent systems performing autonomous, real-time logic at the edge, that now make critical decisions locally.

Autonomous AI Agents — Software systems that act, adapt, and learn without direct human control. The market for these agents is expanding fast, moving from interfaces to agentic systems that independently execute code and manage critical infrastructure.

Cloud and Edge infrastructure
— Distributed architectures that connect local hardware to a global control center, ensuring security policies stay consistent and synced from the cloud all the way to the device.

Preemptive Security in a unified platform

As traditional security is proving inadequate for environments where milliseconds matter, Exein is building a unified platform that protects digital objects operating autonomously without cloud dependency. This shift is driven by:

  • Structural vulnerabilities: Cataloging every CVE and vulnerability signature is unsustainable. Kernel-level enforcement doesn't need to know the attack, it only needs to know the boundary.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Enforcement of incident reporting requirements under the Cyber Resilience Act beginning in September 2026.
  • Infrastructure Hybridization: The surge in environments mixing hardware with modern edge AI. As infrastructure becomes more distributed, protection must be native to the device itself, allowing it to defend itself without needing to ask the network fo permission.

At our demo stations, attendees will find out how AI-native runtime protection can:

  • Prevent attacks before they happen, blocking unauthorized execution inline at the kernel, before malicious code ever reaches user space.

  • Enforce consistent security policy from a single embedded sensor to an entire cloud fleet, with one platform.

  • Reduce attack surfaces by eliminating unnecessary or dangerous capabilities at runtime

Following the event, these capabilities will be introduced through phased releases. This will allow organizations to integrate advanced runtime protection seamlessly into their existing architectures.
